    The Landscape Maintenance Account Manager will oversee landscape maintenance accounts and communicate with clients to keep them informed of the status of their landscape projects.  The Account Manager will also promote maintenance enhancement proposals to improve client property.  This is a customer focused role requiring landscape/horticulture operations knowledge in order to build client relationships, increase enhancement opportunities and build maintenance portfolio work.


    • Identify opportunities, in addition to formal property walks, to submit proposals for plant replacements, flowers, insect/disease spraying, property upgrades and other value-added services
    • Write and submit new contract and account bids and proposals
    • Building and expanding client relationship enhancement sales
    • Promoting exemplary levels of customer satisfaction to ensure client retention
    • Proactively anticipate landscape problems, suggest solution to avoid customer complaints
    • Resolving customer complaints to ensure constant customer satisfaction
    • Maintain and Manage Sales Account Portfolio, meeting and exceeding sales goals
    • Attend trade organizations for networking purposes to enhance sales potential.
    • Establish professional relationship with the property managers and multi-tenant property board members 
    • Work with Crew Foreman and Maintenance Crews providing direction for landscape projects
    • Implement and oversee landscape maintenance programs for a large variety landscape projects
    • Conduct property walk throughs to maintain the appearance of each property, satisfy customer expectations
    • Provide customer service support for each contract assigned to or sold by you
    • Provide each customer the appropriate amount of attention, service and property inspections
    • Work with the maintenance manager to resolve any concerns arising from a property inspection
    • Participate in the snow removal program as required, including processing snow billing, responding to post storm service calls and scheduling clean up



    • Proven experience in professional horticulture, landscape, and irrigation management
    • Bachelors/Associates in Horticulture, Agronomy, or other similar Landscape Program preferred
    • Knowledge of turf and plant species; shrubs, trees, and specimen plant material
    • Identify Disease & Pest problems on plants, trees and turf.
    • General knowledge of turf chemicals and pesticides
    • Valid Driver’s License

    • Annual salary range up to $65,000 + Commission--depending on experience
